Edith Gaylord

Gaylord, Edith Edna (Kaiser), 81, died on Saturday, December 22, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born July 18, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of Jess Earnest and Violet Vodal (Watson) Kaiser. She married Clarence Gaylord in July of 1941 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. They were married for 52 years when he preceded her in death in 1978. She enjoyed playing binigo, fishing, crocheting, playing golf and drinking Coca-Cola. She worked the concession stand at the Tulsa State Fair. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Clarence Gaylord in 2004, her sister Bernadine Spriggs, her brothers Jess E. Kaiser, Jr. and Robert Kaiser. She is survived by her daughter: Patricia Ann Howell of Spavinaw, OK; five Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Wednesday. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Ninde Brookside Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in Sperry, Oklahoma.
