Obituary
Dortha Mae (Sparks) McCullen was born September 14, 1941 in Earle, AR to Gerard & Beatrice (Wallace) Sparks and passed from this life May 2, 2018 at the age of 76.
Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Carl McCullen, Dortha is survived by her children and their spouses, Anthony Sparks, Isom & Cindy Baker, Bobby Baker, Lashawn Baker, Lillian & Stephen Etter and Clarissa Jones; her siblings, Lonnie Sparks, Michael Sparks, Cammila Sparks and Gerard Sparks, Jr.; her grandchildren, Isom Baker, III, Paris Collins, Shaun Michael Baker, Carl Collins, Stephen Collins, Autumn Mills, Ceira Hughes, Garrett Baker, Jeremy Vandertook and Joshua Vandertook; and her great grandchildren, Jayden Baker, Olivia Bonifazi, Jordyn Baker, Michia Baker, Anna Bonifazi, Jensen Carl Baker and Hendry Vandertook.
A Trisagion will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at the Ninde Brookside Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 11 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Dortha will lie in state Friday, May 11, at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Kingdom Keys Ministries located at 8702 E. 61st Street. She will be laid to rest following at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Dear McCullen family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Dortha. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4.
