Dorothy McWilliams Poindexter was born January 2, 1924 in Covington, Tennessee to George P. and Bessie M. (Huffman) McWilliams. Dorothy passed away in her home on November 26, 2008 at the age of 84.
A retired educator, Dorothy is survived by her daughter Brenda and her husband Robert Bailey of Tulsa and her grandson Robert. She will be greatly missed by all.
She will lie in state Monday, December 1, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ninde Brookside Funeral home with graveside services in Covington, Tennessee.
