Dorothy Elmarie Elliott was born January 29, 1921 in Newby, Oklahoma the daughter of Lucy Johnson and Fredrick Springs. Mrs. Elliott passed from this life on Sunday, January 1, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Rozella Caruthers, her son, Russell Milton of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and her husband, Floyd Elliott.
She is survived by her daughters, Rutha Marie Goode and Annie B. Elliott both of Tulsa; her sons, James Loggins of Portsmouth, Ohio and Floyd Elliott, Jr. of Norwalk, California; her 12 Grandchildren, her numerous great Grandchildren and her numerous great, great Grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Her home going celebration will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6th at the North Peoria Church of Christ, 2217 N. Peoria. Dr. Warren G. Blakney, Sr. and Pastor Percy West will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will be made in the Wilson Cemetery in Newby, Oklahoma.
