Doris Walls

Doris Lucille Walls was born on June 29, 1918 in Jenks, OK to Lawrence and Vera (Nichols) Lytle. Doris passed from this life on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 94.

Doris was a longtime resident of Jenks and graduated from Jenks High School in 1936. She was a charter member of First Christian Church of Jenks and an avid quilter. She retired from Page Dairy after 25 years. Doris and her late husband, Carl, were married on July 15, 1939. Carl passed away in 1988.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Walls; a sister, Maxine Dodd and a brother, Billy Lytle. Doris is survived by her daughter, Brenda Underwood, of Edmond, OK and a son, Jerry Walls, of South Haven, MS; 3 sisters, Margaret Brown, of Jenks, OK, Judy Scott, of Graham, TX and Nancy Scott, of Tustin, CA; a brother, Jack Lytle, of Natchez, MS; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
