Donald Juergens

Donald Wayne Juergens was born on April 2, 1926 in Tulsa, OK to Cecil and Ruth Juergens. He passed from this life on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the age of 85. He graduated from Tulsa Central High School and attended Tulsa University. Don served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and later graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa.

He married Grace Ann Mills on February 11, 1950, she preceded him in death. Both Don and Grace Ann were active in the Tulsa Little Theatre. Don worked as a salesman, branch manager and senior sales manager for Industrial Bearing & Transmission Company, both in Tulsa and Omaha, before retiring in 1991. Don was an avid aviation enthusiast and earned his private pilot's license. After retiring, Don volunteered at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. Other hobbies included antique car restoration, fishing, camping and playing bridge. He was a 33rd degree Mason, a member of the Tulsa Scottish Rite and Delta Lodge AF & AM.

He is survived by his children, Steven Wayne Juergens, of Rogers, AR and Cathy Lee Juergens, of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Jonathan Wayne Juergens and Jamie Lynne Juergens, both of Fayetteville, AR.
