Obituary
Donald Eugene White was born on March 8, 1950 in Tulsa, OK to Kenneth and Beulah (Robinson) White. Don passed from this life on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his home at the age of 71.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard White and a sister, Cindy Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Sara (Coffee) White of the home, his children: Eugena Williams, Rosa Dake, Tammy Files, Regina White, Angel Warford and Donnie White; his step daughters: Donna Jones, Kay Sharp, Bobbie Morgan and Tammy Ramos; his siblings: Glenda Terrell and Kathy Stephens; his half-sisters: Linda DeWeese and Jean Turley; 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Don was involved in prison ministry which he loved and enjoyed with all his heart. Don saw so much of himself in the inmates. He always told them “If God could turn my life around he could do the same for anyone”. He restored hope, faith, love, forgiveness and so much more back into their lives. He loved to serve the Lord and spread the word to many. Outside of church and his ministry he enjoyed working on vehicles, tree trimming, and spending time in Branson with the family. His favorite activity in Branson was riding go carts. He found so much joy racing the kids and giving them an extra bump just to get past them and try to come in first place. He was a loving husband who adored his wife. The two of them were inseparable. If you saw Don, you would see Sara. The two of them shared 43 years together creating many memories and mentoring not only their family and friends, but countless others. Don had a huge heart, a great laugh, and had an impact on many lives. He will be truly missed by so many.
The family will receive friends 5-7PM Tuesday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Ninde Brookside Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:30 P.M. at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, OK.

I knew Donnie before and after his conversion. What a heavenly transformation from an unsaved man…to a man of God. After Donnie’s conversion he was a hoot to be around. God gave him a hunger for the Word and implanted vital knowledge and wisdom into Donnie’s heart and mind immediately. When I would visit him and Sara early on I never wanted to leave. He was so knowledgeable in the Word that I could listen to him preach/talk forever. And also he was so witty? Too he had me laughing so hard. I’m glad I got to know him so see him serve the Lord with all his might. I can hear the words of Jesus now as he entered heaven. MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. Sara you too are a Jewel. Loved you as much as I loved Donnie….my brother in Christ.

I had the pleasure of knowing both Don and Sarah , I got to meet them both inside and outside of custody and neither ever treated me any different, both just kept thongs so real when they came to share God’s truth , their testimony, and a sense of hope in such a hard situation! I remember more people attended their services than any of them, and peoples faces light up at them mention of them coming or having gotten to spend time w them !!! I’m so sorry for the lose but feel so gifted to have ever gotten to know him at all !! I know god is waiting for u ! U will be missed and always remembered !!!

Don White was my next door neighbor for 9 years. Once I moved in he was always willing to help me with anything I needed. I never seen a man work as hard as he did. Whenever someone needed his help he was always willing to help them. He was a good husband and father. I will miss seeing him around. Please know my thoughts are with his family now & always!! Donnie (as we know him) will always have a special place in our hearts. He is so loved by us and our Church Family. He was one of our greatest encouragers. He told us how much he loved us and the Church every time we talked. Every time a person walked in that seemed lost and afraid, Donnie was the first one by their side. He would place his hand on their shoulder, speak words of life, and pray. He shared his testimony and what a great testimony it is! He was a friend to all, no matter what. We were so grateful to have a man among us who cared so much about others. We hold him in high esteem and with great admiration and love. He will be greatly missed by all of us! Sara, we love you, too, and we know that you and Donnie together paved the way for many others to find hope and God! We stand with you, love you, and will be here for you always. Most importantly, you have Jesus! We know you are strong and God will take care of your every need. We send our love and prayers to Sara and the entire family, now and in the days to come.
