Don DeWitt

Don Philip DeWitt was born January 3, 1921 in Bartlesville, OK to William E. and Nora (Chaney) DeWitt. He passed from this life Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the age of 87 in San Angelo, TX at the home of his daughter and son-in-law. He was a graduate of Tulsa Central High School and attended OSU. Don served as a pilot in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was owner of DeWitt Construction Co., a proud 33rd degree Mason and a member of South Brooke Church of Christ.

Don was a loving husband to Lucille until her death in 1976 and the proud father of two loving daughters Ruth Ann and Nancy. He has now joined Lucille, Ruth Ann Anderson; and, grand-daughter, Shay Lynn Warren in Heaven. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Juanita; loving daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Barnett Brooks; brother, William DeWitt; and, step-son, Pat. Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend; he will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery.
