Obituary
Dolores Ann Carnes was born on April 21, 1943 in San Pedro, to Theodore A. Doyle Hallum and Fern Louise Hallum. Dee passed from this life on Friday December 11, 2015 at the age of 72. Dee lived a vibrant, active life surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed travel with her husband to Europe, Hawaii, and frequent trips to Las Vegas. Dee was an avid cook,and loved to entertain at home, Dee loved life. She was a voracious reader and a master at crossword puzzles. Dee traveled extensively throughout her life, including Europe and Hawaii and Las Vegas. Her travels made for great bedtime stories for her great niece Piper. Dee lived a vibrant,active life surrounded by family and friends. Whatever Dee did she maintained a sense of humor and fashion that was unparalleled.
She is survived by brothers Harvey and Doyle; by her niece Noel and great niece Piper; by nephews Jesse III, Nicholas and Michael; and by granddaughter Amanda. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Barbara and by her husband Fain.

Fain and Dee where so much fun to be around! One of my favorite memories was Fain always buying beautiful jewerly for Dee. There was a few weeks that every time we saw her at church she had a new piece of jewerly. My husband always commented her on her beautiful jewerly. So one Sunday she had on a new bracelet. My husband said,"Dee, you must have been a really good girl to get a gift like that." Dee came back to Jim saying, "Honey, good girls don't get gift like this!" She always smiled and was a blessing to call her a friend. God bless Dee and Fain that are happy together once again. Prayers for the family as they have lost an angel!
