David Lee Grace
Obituary
David Lee Grace was born August 28, 1949 in Tulsa, OK to Paul Leo Grace & Wanda Francis (Morgan) Grace and passed from this life on September 23, 2020 at the age of 71.
Upon completion of his education David enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he served in the Vietnam War rising to the rank of Corporal. Stateside following the war David and his wife Vickie created and operated the Grace Sand Company. Upon retirement David enjoyed family and friends at their Grand Lake house.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Grace, David is survived by his wife, Vickie Lynn (Thompson) Grace; his daughters, Melissa Grace and Mandy Grace and her husband, Robin Wagstaff; his sister, Lucy Murphy; and his grandchildren, Zander, Ryker, Lily and Sadie.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 5, 2020 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in David’s memory to Tulsa VFW Post 577, 1109 East 6th Tulsa, OK 74120.

Mr. Grace was such a generous gentleman. I have so many great memories of David, he taught me how to shoot my pellet gun straight, gave me some of his gear from his service in Vietnam (including a hallowed out bazooka that made all my friends jealous), let me drive his new to the market sea doo when they first came out in the 1990s and I’ll never forget all the fireworks we set off together as well as the water slide at his pool that he would run the hose on while we went down. I also remember many super bowl parties at the Grace house and catching fire flys. Looking back now with a family of my own, I am grateful for the time and energy David invested in me when he did not have too. Our condolences to the Grace family and You can count on us to be praying for you. Thank you David for your service to our country and the lasting impression you made on many.
