Obituary
Danny Paul Skaggs, Jr. was born August 13, 1969 to Danny Paul Skaggs, Sr. & Lila Lorraine (Litke) Skaggs and passed from this life on July 19, 2020 at the age of 50.
Danny, or Boone as preferred to be called, was a gentle-hearted family man who enjoyed having his family and friends around him. Never known a single creature he didn’t love and respect. A family man who enjoyed life to the fullest. Going camping, computers, gaming, and woodworking was just some of his favorite hobbies to do. He went to Rogers High School and proud of being an Okie. He was a hug and smile always and knew how to make you feel welcomed and could make you laugh. He was always supportive of his family and friends. Spending time together with his grandchildren was a joyous occasion for him. He was so proud of all four of his children. He will be missed immensely by those who were lucky enough to have known him.
Danny is survived by his parents; his wife, Tabitha Gayle (Birdsong) Skaggs; his children, Christine Skaggs, Kristopher Skaggs, Caleb Burklin and Lance Burklin; and his grandchildren, Lola, Miguel and Cora.

Hard to think of all the times. When he was about 1, we were staying with mom and dad Skaggs and I was working downtown. David had just had back surgery. I walked in the house, hot and miserable so I pulled off the wig I was wearing. He was was scared to pieces. It took awhile for him to make up with me.
