Dan Lee Rogers
Obituary
Dan was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma April 9, 1965 to Ned and Lana Rogers. He passed from this life peacefully at home in his sleep August 8, 2024 at the age of 59.
Dan was an amazing father to his 2 sons Kobey Alkire and Alec Michael. He loved life and his passion was deeply anchored in his boys. Playing ball with the boys and their neighborhood friends was always a big part of his days. Whether is was baseball, football or rugby Dan was seen coaching, cheering his boys on and running down the sidelines.
Dan graduated from Memorial High School and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. He was a 4th generation graduate from OU. He went on to have a lifelong career in Telecommunications sales and management.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Eldon and Mary Rogers, his parents Ned and Lana Rogers, his sister Karen, his Aunt Lynda and cousin Peter.
He is survived by Cami, Kobey and Alec Rogers, Collette Honn, Janice and Kari Nicklas, Sonny, Shan and Andrea Rains, Kristie, Shane, Ezra and Kellan O’Mealey, Shelby and Ryan Spencer. Anastasia and Lexi Honn. Scott and Hanna Tarwater. He left behind a host of other family members and so many friends. Through everyday trials of life Dan never lost his faith in Jesus. He has attended church at First United Methodist since he was a small baby and continued throughout his life. His family is a 4th generation at First United Methodist Church.
Dan was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will live on in the lives of Kobey and Alec.
