Dagmar "Dee Dee" Allen

Dagmar “Dee Dee” Allen was born October 22, 1933 in Stuttgart, Germany to Christian & Barbara Anne (Louth) Rapp and passed from this life on March 10, 2017 at the age of 83.

Dee Dee was a fascinating person with a variety of stories. She grew up in occupied Germany in World War II and told stories of the Allied Forces coming. In addition, Dee Dee was also a figure skater and has done luge. She has lived in Germany, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and Oklahoma. She went to university in Germany and finished her college education in Pennsylvania. When she moved to Oklahoma she got a job at a prestigious law firm as a secretary. Her family in New York and Oklahoma has always been special to her; she was especially involved in her niece and nephew’s lives. Dee Dee enjoyed movies, music, talking to friends, drinking coffee and reading.

Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Pia Ulrich, Eva McIntyre and Susanne Ann Gauger. She is survived by her nieces Ellen Ulrich, Paulette Silvestre, Kathleen Haner and husband Randall and; her nephews and their wives Curtis & Lisa Gauger and John & Wanda McIntyre; her great nieces, Ulrike, Claudia, Breanna McIntyre, Nicole McIntyre, Diana Jo Williams, Kara Lauren Farrow, Theresa Alexandria Farrow, and Renee’ Elizabeth Gauger; and her great nephew, Derek Nicholas Silvestre; her great, great nephew Christopher James Hyatt and great, great, niece Olivia Grace Hyatt.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
