Clyde Carr
Obituary
Clyde D. Carr was born on January 19, 1916 in Kansas City, KS to Floyd and Anna May (Hilliard) Carr. He passed from this life on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the age of 94. Clyde served in the U.S. Army during WWII and he was captured by the Germans, becoming a Prisoner of War for a short time. Clyde was a retired accountant from Getty Oil Company and was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary G. Carr in August 2010. Viewing at Ninde Brookside Wednesday 10:00 to 5:00 with Graveside service 1:00 P.M. Thursday Stoney Point Cemetery in Kansas City, KS.
