Clayton Hendricks

Clayton Thomas Hendricks was born January 25, 1958 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Carl Thomas and Willadean (Lehr) Hendricks. He passed from this life on July 26, 2009 at the age of 51 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Clayton graduated from Okeene High School in 1976 with high achievements in football and track. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1980. Clayton was viewed as a top leader in his profession in the development and problem solving of sucker rods for downhole in the oil and gas industry. He loved working outdoors, growing flowers, plants and gardening. He loved spending time with his children and playing water volleyball with his friends. Preceded in death by his father (Carl), Clayton is survived by his daughters; Megan and her husband Matt Cottrill and Katie Hendricks; his son, Chad Hendricks; his brother and wife, William and Terry Hendricks; his mother, Mrs. Willadean Hendricks; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at First United Methodist Church in Okeene, Oklahoma with Rev. George Rowe officiating. Private family interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Okeene.
