Claudette Rogers
Obituary
Claudette Rogers was born July 30, 1956 in Tulsa to Thomas Lee and Laurann (Wells) Rogers. She passed from this life Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the age of 60, following a battle with cancer.
Claudette was a life-long Tulsan and a 1974 graduate of Thomas A. Edison High School. She held a number positions over her career, most recently as marketing and membership director for Cedar Ridge Country Club. Claudette was very active in many civic organizations, including Rotary Club, the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Tulsa Press Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Claudette is survived by her sister, Annette Rogers Brandt and her husband, Jim of Germantown, TN; her nephew, Tommy Brandt and his wife, Erica of Memphis, TN; nieces, Nicole Brandt of Salt Lake City, UT and Lauren Brandt of Denver, CO.; her aunts, Virginia Ball of Tulsa, OK and Becky Rogers of Owasso, OK; two great-nieces and a great-nephew; and, a “goatload” of cousins. Because cats were a big part of Claudette’s life, she also leaves “Stewie,” “Callie” and “Jasper.”
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Claudette’s memory to the Tulsa Chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Humane Society of Tulsa, Oklahoma Alliance for Animals, Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) or the animal aid organization of your choice.
A celebration of life will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Cedar Ridge Country Club..

As President of the Rotary Club of Southside Tulsa I wish to let you know that we all were deeply saddened to hear of Claudette's passing. Claudette joined the Rotary Club of Tulsa in November of 2004 and transferred to our club in June of 2015. Claudette clearly gave of herself to service of others. Both Rotary Clubs were richer because of her membership. Even during the last year she was a positive beacon of encouragement for our club. She was an excellent example of "Service Above Self." She will be missed.
