Claude Corbett

Claude Edward Corbett was born March 15, 1921 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Walter and Elizabeth Corbett. On April 4, 1941, he married Dorice Williams, and they had one daughter, Janie.

In 1945, they moved to the Northwest and lived in various states until they returned to Oklahoma in 1996. Claude developed many different skills by working in various fields including coal mining, truck/bus driving, construction, airlines, and most recently real estate.

He lived in Tulsa from 1996 until his death on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the age of 90.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Dorice; his parents; two sisters, Mary Hall and Sally Jeffrey; two brothers, Jim Corbett and Jack Corbett; and his son-in-law, Ron Shearer. He is survived by his daughter, Janie Shearer, of Columbus, Montana; grandson, Kyl Shearer of Billings, Montana; grandson, Tad Shearer and wife, Jeanne and great-grandsons, Michael and Timothy of Mt. Vernon, Washington; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
