Clarence O. Heneger

Clarence O Heneger, 91 of Norman, Oklahoma died September 20, 2017 in Norman.  Clarence, the son of John and Josey Heneger passed away surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Dane and Linda Heneger of Prairie Village, Kansas, daughter and son-in law Kent and DeAnne Rideout of San Antonio, Texas, and sister, Louise Powell of Norman, Oklahoma.  He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two nephews.  He was preceded in death by son, Daren Heneger, parents, John and Josey Heneger, brothers James and Dale Heneger, and sister, Mildred Heneger.

Clarence was a graduate of Bethany Nazarene College with degrees in Christian Theology and Religion.  He was an ordained Nazarene Minister and served congregations in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Missouri.  He received certification in hospital administration and worked as an administrator for Alverno Heights Hospital in Guthrie, Oklahoma, and then St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.  Later he moved to Tulsa to become the Comptroller at Saint John’s Hospital.  He loved his family, he loved his country and he loved the Lord.  He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends and all those who knew him.

Graveside service was held 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
