Chu Nguyen

Chu Thi Nguyen was born January 1, 1921 in Saigon, Vietnam to her mother Dang T. Le and passed from this life May 16, 2010 at the age of 89.

Chu lived a very simple life and devoted every second to following the teachings of the Catholic faith. She loved Jesus Christ and lived out His Word through acts of kindness - not only towards her family, but to all those in need. Her life was dedicated to the well-being of her loved ones and every glorious day ended in deep reflection and prayer. Chu lived her life exactly the way the Lord intended.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Nuoi V. Tran, and her daughter-in-law, Minh T. Tran, Chu is survived by her daughters, Nang T. Tran and Hue N. Ta; her sons, Tri V. Tran and Tai T. Tran; her daughter-in-law, Be V. Tran; her son-in-law, Chung V. Ta; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Chu will lie in state 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with family visitation from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and a Rosary at 8:00 p.m. all at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. A 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at the Church of St. Mary with final interment at Calvary Cemetery. Ninde Brookside Chapel. 918.742.5556
