McConnell, Christopher Charles (Chris) died on Thursday, June 5, 2008 in Steamboat Springs, Co. Chris was born November 19, 1970 in Aruba, Netherlands Antilles, the son of Charles (Chuck) and Barbara (Leighty) McConnell. Chris graduated from Jenks High School and attended Northeastern State University at Tahlequah and The University of Tulsa studying math and computer science. Chris loved soccer and played from age 6 years. He is survived by his father of Steamboat Springs, Co. and his mother of Bainbridge Island, Wa. And his sisters Lory of Kansas City, Ks. And Jennifer and her husband Kenneth of Grand Rapids, Mi.; his grandparents, Floyd and Mary Leighty of Tulsa, OK; He is also survived by his love, LesLee Austin. Service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 19 in the Ninde Woodland Chapel, 5757 S. Memorial.
