Christine Elizabeth Stafford

Christine Elizabeth (Walker) Stafford was born October 29, 1936, in Carthage, Mississippi to Veo Walker & Isabella (Wilder) Walker and passed from this life, in her own home with her family, December 19, 2024, at the age of 88.

Christine loved her plants and working in her yard,she was a loving woman that got along with everyone.she injoyed being at home more than anything with her dogs which ate what she ate.her god son lavell ardoin could put a smile on her face out of this world and a laugh you couldnt duplicate.you will be missed and never forgot about mother.  You know I wish you could come back but I dont want you to suffer with all the pain, but I know you are with me and I will always love and miss you with all my heart.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Vernon Vincent Stafford; her daughter-in-law, Leteshia Stafford; and siblings Bennie, Will Pat, Earnest, Veo, Vernon, Gloria, and Fannie.  She is survived by her son, Vernon Jerome Stafford; grandson Daimion Stafford and his 8 children, Jerrion Stafford and his 2 children, Tavion Stafford and his son. Her brothers, Carl Walker and wife, Dora, Odell Walker, Clint Walker, Charlie Walker, Steve Walker, Travis Walker and Clarence Walker; her sisters, Debra Walker; Barara Alston and husband Larry, Hazel Carter and husband Clayton, Ozellar Robinson, Frankie Carson and numerous extended family members and friends.

She is survived by her son, Vernon Jerome Stafford; grandson Daimion Stafford and his 8 children, Jerrion Stafford and his 2 children, Tavion Stafford and his 1 son. Her brothers, Carl Walker and wife, Dora, Odell Walker, Clint Walker, Charlie Walker, Steve Walker, Travis Walker and wife Izolia and JP Walker. her sisters, Debra Walker; Barbara Alston and husband Larry, Hazel Carter and husband Clayton, Ozellar Robinson, Frankie Carson and numerous extended family members and friends.

A funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria, Tulsa, OK 74105.  She will be laid to rest following at the Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens in Tulsa, OK.
