Chris Martin Jones

Christopher Martin Jones was born June 11, 1954 in Kansas City, MO.  He passed peacefully from this life Monday, September 12, 2022 at his home in Tulsa surrounded by family.

Chris attended Shawnee Mission East High School, graduating in 1972.  He attended Arizona State University for one year. He then attended Kansas University where he was a Phi Delta Theta receiving his Master of Business Administration in 1978.

Chris was a loyal Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs fan, as well as a proud member of Southern Hills Country Club.

Chris is survived by his wife, Shelly Kay Jones.  Shelly and Chris shared five wonderful children, daughter, Kelly Christine Jones and her husband, Nik Milanov; son, Garrett Jones and his partner, Jonathan Miller; sons, Zachary Petty, Jeremiah Petty and his wife, Amy; daughter, Rachael Elizabeth Jones.  He is also survived by his sister, Karen Cross Harper and her husband, Gregory; brother, Matthew Forbes Cross and his wife, Lindy Senter Cross; his brother, Robert Jones, Jr; sister-in-Law, Jennifer Lynn Smith; mother of his children, Patricia Irwin Jones.  He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, 3 grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.
