Chris John Johnson, Sr. was born on February 26, 1927 in Tulsa, OK to John G. and Helen (Kachinis) Johnson. Chris passed from this life on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the age of 91.
He married Billie Eileen Dawson on April 12, 1953 in Tulsa, OK. He was a 32nd degree mason and a Shriner. He worked for PSO and remodeled houses for many years. Chris served honorably in the Navy during WWII and Korea
Chris was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Billie Eileen (Dawson) Johnson; a son, Chris John Johnson, Jr. and a brother, Gus J. Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Helen E. Miller of Bella Vista, AR; a granddaughter, Chasity Loyd and her husband, Joel and 2 great grandsons, Austin and Collin Loyd.

Chris was a member of the Tulsa Perennial Club and he will be greatly missed. His quick wit and charm always made us smile. He loved to say "I'm glad you got to see me" and it always made me laugh!
