Charles C. Clark III
Charlie left his friends and family on Friday, March 24, 2006 after a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles C. Clark Jr and is survived by his mother, Berdina Bentley of Muskogee Oklahoma and his life partner of 28 years, John Couey.
Charlie was born in Oklahoma City and made Tulsa his home. He was a graduate of Tulsa Community College and worked as a purchasing agent for a vending supply company followed by becoming a trainer in a Tulsa based call center.
Charlie's love for life and friends endeared him to all that met him. He was involved in various organizations in his lifetime and made many friends as a result of his enthusiasm for life. He was known for being kind and thoughtful to everyone that he met.
His passion for traditional Native American music, Pow Wow's and stomp dancing brought much joy to the friends and family that he shared his experiences with.
Charlie was a good Christian at heart, someone who never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who shared his joy.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Ninde Garden Chapel followed by interment at Floral Haven Cemetery.
