Charles Bruner
Obituary
Charles William "Bill" Bruner was born on November 20, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK to Charles Edward and Mary Maude (Cassady) Bruner. A long time Tulsa resident, he passed from this life on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the age of 81.
Bill met Thelma Jean Cook and they were married in 1967. Bill retired from the Leland Equipment Company specializing in oilfield equipment and supplies. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged. Bill and Thelma were active longtime members of University United Methodist Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Thelma Jean, on February 27, 2010. He is survived by his cousins, Fred Bruner, of Michigan, Mary Nethercutt, of Oklahoma City and Eloise Booker, of Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute in Bill's memory to their favorite charity.
