Carmel Johnson

Johnson, Carmel William, 87, died on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at the Cimarron Point Nursing Center in Mannford, Oklahoma. Mr. Johnson was born December 8, 1918 in Summerfield, Oklahoma the son of William Ernest and Mira (Coker) Johnson. He married Fannie Louise Newell on September 12, 1946 in Tulsa. They made their home in Tulsa until she preceded him in death on September 21, 2000. He worked as an inventory Clerk for the American Airlines for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years; his parents; his son, Kenneth William Johnson of Broken Arrow, OK; his sister: Wathina Newman of Sherman, TX and his brother: Orville Johnson. He is survived by his son: Glenn Johnson of Mannford, OK; his two brothers: James D. Johnson of Poteau, OK and Leonard C. Johnson of Tulsa, OK. Friends may call at the Ninde Whisenhunt Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Reichert Cemetery in Reichert, Oklahoma.
