Carloss Reed Johnston

Carloss Reed Johnston was born in Morris, OK on October 6, 1935, to Joseph Burton Johnston & Hettie Jane (Durham) Johnston and passed from this life in the family home on August 3, 2026, at the age of 90.

Carloss, or Shorty as many called him, worked for American Airlines for almost 40 years and even traveled as a consultant for them after his retirement.  Upon retiring he and Terry made their homestead on The Lazy J Farm which was anything but.  A host of animals ranging from horses to dogs and cats and even including a goat and a llama has passed through their care.  Apart from their farm and rental management, he loved the Lord with all his heart and is now enjoying his full reward.

Preceded in death by his parents and his 11 siblings, he is survived by his wife, Terry Alyson Johnston; his sons and daughters-in-law, Tim & Cynthia Johnston and Doug & Dee Johnston; his grandchildren, Cassie Gonzales, Katrina Johnston and Nicholas Johnston; many nieces, nephews and close friends.  He will be missed by all.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Morris Cemetery in Morris, OK.
