Carlos Velazquez, 38, died Tuesday morning, August 12, 2008 at the St. John Medical Center as the result of an automobile accident. Carlos was born November 30, 1969 in Bronx, New York the son of Luis Angel and Maria Milagros (Albarran) Velazquez. He worked as the operations manager for K&M Shillingford Company. He married Ilana Shillingford on October 15, 2005 in Sapulpa, OK. They made their home in Collinsville with their daughter Maya. He is survived by his wife, Ilana; his father, Luis Velazquez of West Palm Beach, FL; his mother: Maria Velazquez of Easton, PA; his daughter: Maya Marley Velazquez; his sons: Oswaldo Velazquez, Joshua Velazquez, Justin E. Velazquez all of Miami, FL and Elijah E. Velazquez of Collinsville, OK; Grandchildren: Isaiah Diaz, Giovanni Diaz and Jayden Sandoval; his sister: Maritza Velazquez of Easton, PA; his brothers: Luis Angel Velazquez, Jr. of Westchester, NY, Kenneth "Tikki" Garcia of Pembroke Pines, FL, Paul Acosta of Weston, Florida and Raul Moris of Puerto Rico. A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday at the home of his father-in-law, Peter Shillingford, 365 Ecker Lane.
