Obituary
Carlos Ray Hawkins was born on May 1, 1927 in Weleetka, OK to Alva and Oma (Mills) Hawkins. Ray passed from this life at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the age of 86.
Ray retired after 27 years as a draftsman with Sun Oil Company. He loved working in his vegetable garden and his took his corn seriously! Ray worked on old cars and made them like new. He prided himself of turning trash into treasures. Whether it was working in the garden, fixing cars or fishing; outdoors was the place to be for Ray. Central to his life was his love for his family, they were his treasures.
He is survived by his wife, Doris of the home; 2 daughters, Linda Wells and Sheila Farrara both of Tulsa, OK; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
