Bob Boyd

Boyd, Bob, was born August 11, 1957 in Phoenix, AZ. He passed from this life Monday, January 14, 2008 at the age of 50. Bob was President of Career Development Services which joined in late 2005. He went to CDS after six years with one of the 'Big Three' international outplacement and consulting firms, Right Management Consultants. Prior to joining Right in 1999, Bob was at Phillips Petroleum Company. He had a dual background in Information Technology Management and Corporate Human Resources and Executive Development. Bob served on the board of Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium, was a Member of the Tulsa Area Human Resource Association, CPI World Partners, and was a top echelon recruiter.

Bob held a Bachelor's Degree in Management/Computer Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he was voted "Outstanding Management Student" by faculty his senior year. He served as Student Body Vice-President and President of the Management and Marketing Society while working full-time through school. Additionally, Bob completed the University of Tulsa's abbreviated MBA program of strategic management topics in 1999, and a variety of other management and marketing courses.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Lee Washington Boyd, in 1968. He is survived by his wife, Deanna and his son, Jonathan. also surviving are his mother and step-father, Jeanne & Virgil Rowe of Marlow, OK; sisters, Brenda Boyd of Oklahoma City and Becky Sulivant of Marlow, OK; numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Friday, January 18th at Redeemer Covenant Church, 5415 E. 101st Street So. In Tulsa.
