Betty Pauline Black was born January 26, 1922 in Miami, OK and passed from this life December 29, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 93.
Betty graduated from Afton High School in 1939 and worked as a secretary; retiring from Atlantic Richfield Company offices in Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee & Glen Smith of Afton, OK. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Glynnis Lee & Barry Gangwer of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Kathy Ann Guerrero of Tulsa, OK; 5 grandchildren, David Sweat and wife Easter, Kristin Gangwer and husband Dylan Ward, Vicenta Edwards and husband Nathan, Emily Gangwer, and Jazmine Oliver; great grandchildren, Trenton Webster, Davriana Sweat, Nathan Edwards, Jr., Tre’von Sweat, Veronica Edwards, Kix Edwards, Jazlynn Thomas, and Natalia Edwards.
Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Ninde Brookside Chapel. Graveside service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Mount Hope Cemetery, Afton, OK.
