Miss Betty Jean Jacobs was born May 10, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of William Marcellus and Leona Helen (Boots) Jacob. She lived in Tulsa for many years where she worked for many years at a medical transcriptionist for St. John Medical Center. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her sisterMarcella Louise Jacobs. She is survived by her nephew: Rob Jacobs and her niece: Sandra. Graveside service will be Friday, December 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ozark Memorial Park in Joplin, Missouri. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Oklahoma United Methodist Foundation, 4201 Classen Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73118.
