Betty Howard

Betty Jean (Cope) Howard was born February 18, 1921 in Plainview, Texas to Trenton Jefferson and Norma (Williams) Cope. She passed from this life November 28, 2009 at the age of 88.

Betty and her husband Dwight shared co-ownership of Howard Sheet Metal Company for 35 years and had been married 65 years when he passed away in 2005.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Dwight Howard; her brothers, Raymond and Roger Cope; her sister, Ruth Roos; granddaughter, Sherry Marie Cutre; great granddaughter, Stephanie Pelky; and her daughter, Betty Jo Snyder. Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheryle and Eugene Moffitt; her son, James Frederick Howard; her sister and brother-in-law, Virginia Lee and Harvey Graves; eight grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Betty will lie in state 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Tulsa, OK. interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
