Betty Hamilton

Betty West Hamilton, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Born March 5, 1921 in Ardmore, OK. Died peacefully on January 24, 2007. Married J. C. Hamilton, Jr. in 1945, moved to Tulsa in 1948 and was happily married for over 50 years, devoting her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was an active volunteer with the Tulsa Psychiatric Foundation, the Tulsa Philharmonic, and in all the activities of her family. Survived by her children: Karen Hamilton Fraser, James Clay Hamilton, III, and Linda Hamilton Welch; grandchildren: Wendy and Michael Gray, Robin and Larry Faulkner, Kerry and Jeff Turner, Whitney and Clayton Fraser, Johanna Christine Hamilton, J.C. Welch, Jr., Jennifer and Brandon Welch and Nancy and Cody Welch; eleven great-grandchildren and her Earth Angels, Peggy Linton and Nancy Makar. A private service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
