Betty Green

Green, Betty Jewel, 87, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 30, 2008. She was born on July 16, 1921 in Bristow, OK to Virgil and Nora (Dunaway) Foster. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, husband, the late State Senator Warren E. Green and a son-in-law, W. C. Childers. Betty is survived by, 4 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, Sharon Kay Childers, of Edmond, OK, Priscilla and Ken Davidson, of Tulsa, Susan and William Rogers, of Edmond, OK and Marilyn and Pat Trout, of Tulsa; 7 grandchildren: Chris Childers, of Jupiter, FL, David and Jenifur Davidson, Deanna Davidson, of Tulsa, Sarah and Matt Harden, of Edmond, OK, Billy Rogers, of Los Angeles, CA, Dustin Trout, of Tulsa, OK and Rebecca Rogers, of Edmond, OK; 2 great grandchildren: Lillian Jewel and Wyatt Harden, of Edmond, OK. She was a member of the Brookside Lionette's, Tulsa County Republican Women's Club and a longtime member of Southside Christian Church, Tulsa. Betty was a former owner of Green's Drive-In and Green's Auto Service. Service 10:00 A.M. Saturday Southside Christian Church interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
