Obituary
Betty Geenatt (Spencer) Moyer was born December 9, 1942 in Brady, TX to Melvin & Lola (Mithcell) Spencer and passed from this life on September 26, 2014 at the age of 71.
Betty's love of family and friends was her biggest joy in life. She loved to cook and entertain anytime, not just on holidays. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bingo, music and board games. Betty loved the great outdoors. You could find her several times a day on her patio just absorbing the beauty of nature and life itself. Betty was always a true friend in every sense of the word to those special people she chose to surrounded herself with. She was a member of Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Don Moyer; her sister, Dee Brown; her brothers, Chester Spencer and Kenneth Spencer. She is survived by her daughter, Sabrina Roberts; her step daughters, Melissa Hodges and Mia Conneen; her sisters, Shelia Perez, Shirley Turnell and Deborah Taylor and her husband Rick; her brother, Vernon Holden and his wife Shirley; her grandchildren, Misty Waller, Hailey Hodges, Mikayla Conneen, Kelsey Hodges and Taylor Hodges; and her great grandchild, Caydence Waller.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK.

Since I arrived a new world called the States, 14 years has passed. It sounds long time ago but I still remember what I did with you clearly. You told me a lot of things, not only English conversation and American culture but also what the family is. After spending time with you, you became my American mother. I'll miss you so much and love you forever. Rest in peace.

Only 1000 characters can not express my feeling of today. I still remember the first day I met you at Linda's house. I really appreciate it that you could accept me to stay in your house although I could not speak English at all. The time I spent with you, Sabrina, Misty and Tetsuo is my most precious time in entire my life. Betty, I'm so sorry not to be able to see you in US. When I stayed in Cleveland Ohio during this June and July, I texted to you to check if you were still in Portland OR. During text communications, you did not tell me about your health. I regret deeply that I should have got Tulsa to see you at that time. This is really unfortunate that I can not join your funeral but please wait for me. I promised to Sabrina that I'll get Tulsa sometime next year to say Hi to you. Sabrina and Misty, please accept the deepest sympathy from myself, Chika, Outa, Chiyori, Ryota, Eiko and Hide, all of my family members. Betty, you will live in our heart forever. Love you, Yoshi.
