Obituary
Betty Jean Barnes was born on October 31, 1935 in Jenks, OK to William and Earphy (Coonce) Hail. Betty passed from this life surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the age of 78.
Betty retired from Tulsa Public Schools Child Nutrition Department. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was active in all aspects of her church life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; her sister, Maxine Patterson and a brother Donald Hail. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Meister, of Tulsa; son, DeWayne Barnes, of Kellyville, OK, Terry Barnes, Tulsa, OK and Larry Barnes, of Morris, OK; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Donations may be made in Betty's memory to the Calvary Baptist Church, Children's Ministry, 7216 E. Admiral Pl., Tulsa, OK 74115
