Obituary
Betty Rose (McDonald) Atkins, was born October 10, 1923 in Drummond, OK to Clyde and Rose (Wilkerson) McDonald. She passed from this life Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ivan Atkins in 1968. Betty and John were former owners of Coolie Marine, Inc. in Tulsa.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Ann Prickett and her husband, Lew of Owasso and Janice Davis of Tulsa; her sons, Larry J. Atkins and his wife, Terry of Sand Springs, OK and Alan D. Atkins and his wife, Michelle of Mounds, OK; her sister: Lucile Duttweiler of Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3-5pm Sunday at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2010 at Christ's Church of Owasso, 13807 E 96th St North with interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to Christ's Church of Owasso, Ladies Ministry, 13807 East 96th Street North, Owasso, OK 74055.
