Abbey, Betty Jeane (traylor), 73, died on Sunday, November 2, 2008. Born October 24, 1935 in Santa Anna, TX the daughter of Martin Teague and Eva Ruth (Gardner) Traylor. Married Charlie Ray Abbey on November 25, 1954 in Coleman, TX. They moved to Tulsa in 1996. She had a successful career in Banking having retired from Bank of Oklahoma. Survivors: Husband: Charlie; daughters: Ann Abbey of Alubquerque, NM and Dr. Linda Hunter of Lincoln, NE; her mother: Mrs. Ruth Traylor of Brownwood, TX; Grandchildren: Christopher Lee Ferguson of Albuquerque, NM and Steven Wayne Ferguson of Tulsa; Great Grandchildren: Nicole, Zachari, Alexis, Maddison and Hailee of Albuquerque; Rylie, Piper and Reece of Tulsa; her sister: Nita Breedlove of Brownwood, TX; her brothers: Bob Traylor of Snyder, TX and Jim Traylor of Lometa, TX. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday at Ninde Woodland, 5757 S. Memorial. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5th at the Asbury United Methodist Church with interment in Memorial Park cemetery.
