Bette Gertrude Jarman Owens was born September 1, 1927 in Coweta, Oklahoma the daughter of Benjamin Carlyle and Edith Grace (Gann) Jarman. She completed this life on Monday, March 12, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 84.
She was married to Wilfred Harry Owens who preceded her in death on July 22, 1982. They made their home in Tulsa for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Ann Montgomery of Claremore, Oklahoma; her sisters, Leona Turner of Porter, Oklahoma and Darlene Pannell of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her brother, Wesley Jarman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her Grandchildren, Samantha Montgomery, Carrie Montgomery and Mary Beth Montgomery. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lisle Jarman, Loyd Jarman and Teddy Jarman.
