Bertha Cole

Bertha Mae Morgan Cole was born on August 10, 1920 in Hugo, OK to Dr. Felix R. Morgan and Nettie (Gore) Morgan. Bertha departed to HEAVEN on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the age of 92.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ziffer Cole, on January 18, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters; a niece Gloria Davis and a great-granddaughter Amber Leigh Cole.

Bertha is survived by, a son, Harvey E. Cole and his wife, Jessica, of Bixby, OK; a grandson, Marc A. Cole and his wife, Kathryn of Round Rock, TX, a granddaughter, Melissa K. Weinke of Tulsa, OK; great-grandsons, Kristopher Cole of Burton, TX, and Xander Dougherty of Tulsa, OK; great-granddaughter, Amber Wienke of Tulsa, OK; nieces: Sandra and husband, Bill Whitehead of Roseburg, OR, Dr. Trudy Milner of Tulsa OK, Christa and husband Mark Santos of Tulsa, OK and Jo A. and husband Darrell Matney of Tulsa, OK, Patricia and husband Harry Schoenhals of Bethany, OK and Sharon Wheeler of Big Bear, CA and a nephew, Daniel Morgan and wife Barbara of Bixby, OK and a sister-in-law, Anna Belle Highland of Tulsa, OK.

Bertha was a lifetime member of the Nazarene church.
