Obituary
Barbara Sue (Horton) Wilkes was born October 21, 1956 in Tulsa, OK to Carl Weldon "Butch" & Geneva Sue (Rogers) Hoffman and passed from this life December 18, 2014 at the age of 58.
She was the owner of a childcare center for 10 years. However, for the past 13 years she has spent many hours writing and rewriting a message the Lord gave her into a book “The Vision”. Her gift in life was to help others in any way she could.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and her sister-in-law, JoAnn Horton. She is survived by her father, Butch Hoffman; her husband of 41 years, Fred Wilkes; her daughter, Melissa Hunt and her husband, Bill; her sister, Rebecca Lynn Hoffman; her brother, Dewayne Horton; and her three grandchildren, Mikayla, Marissa and Abigail.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Belview Baptist Church, 1040 N. Yale.
