Aurelia Correa

Aurelia (Pellicer) Correa was born September 9, 1935 in Frotera, Tabasco, Mexico to Romeo and Cira (Segovia) Pellicer and passed from this life June 29, 2010 at the age of 74.

Family and faith were prominent to Aurelia. She raised her family with love and compassion. She knew no strangers, was a joyful and sharing woman who embraced life and loved children deeplyespecially those children that she taught Spanish to in her church. She served as the Educational Administrator for the Head Start Program in Modesto, California. Aurelia loved and served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ her entire adulthood life and has now received her reward from His hand.

Preceded in death by her father, Aurelia is survived by her mother; her husband, Juan Correa, M.D.; her sons, Albert Pigeon and Roy Pigeon; her step-daughter, Laura Marino and her husband, Greg. She was also survived by her two grandchildren, Misty Pigeon and Marissa Sage; and one great grandchild, Kenny.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Christ Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Christ Presbyterian Church Mission Program, 2706 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, OK 74105.
