Obituary
Arthur “Art” Noel Kelly of Tulsa, Oklahoma was born December 25, 1958, in Paris, France to James Michael and Lois Arlene Kelly (Akins) and passed from this life on July 7, 2024, at the age of 65. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Allen Kelly; sister Carol Sue St. John; and his niece Rachelle Marie Rogel. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Bonnie Rosa Lee Kelly (Britton); his children, Nathan and Caitlin Kelly and their mother, Connie Henderson; his grandson Charles Huxley Abel Kelly; his brothers and sisters, Michael Kelly and his wife Christine, David Kelly and his wife Tami, Teresa McKnight and her husband Robert, and Janice Deffenbaugh and her husband Larry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He graduated high school from Ayer Massachusetts in 1976 and then joined the US Marine Corps where he served for 4 years. He spent his time stationed in Japan and Cherry Point N.C. He was a Sergeant in the aircraft maintenance wing.
After leaving the service, he worked for American Airlines as a hydraulic mechanic, retiring in 2020 after 34 years of service.
His greatest joys in life were spending time with his family and close friends, traveling, carpentry, gardening and riding his Harley.

Art was my best friend. At Ayer HS (good times), our plans for after high school, when he and Connie lived near me in Maryland, at a class reunion (where i met Bonnie) and ever since. we may not have seen each other, several states in between us, or spoken on a regular basis but when we did it was like we just talked yesterday. He will be missed!

Art was an amazing neighbor and awesome man. We will miss hearing the laughter that was always going on especially when family and friends were there. He was a great husband to Bonnie and she always had a smile on her face. We will also miss the spectacular decor he’s put out over the holidays. We’re thankful for getting to know Art and Bonnie over the years, and his presence will be greatly missed. Our condolences to Bonnie, Nathan, Caitlin, Huxley, family and friends.

This is on behalf of Arts mother in law Shirley Britton. Art was an amazing son-in-law and words cannot express my admiration for him or convey my love. He was so talented and always quick to help anyone, no matter what the job was. He was a wonderful husband to Bonnie and they worked side by side everyday doing jobs someone or themselves. I’ll always be grateful for the years that he helped Bonnie as my care giver and the good times we had at family gatherings. He loved to cook the Turkey’s and hams. He always decorated their yard and mine for special holidays as long as he was abel. Thank you Art for the memories. Love Shirley

One thing I didn't mention in memories of Art is that he was such a GREAT Father to his kids, Nathan and Caitlin, and a wonderful Grandfather "Papa" to Huxley. It's obvious when you meet these children/grandson, what a good example of a Dad is, they are awesome people, just like Art!

Art Kelly, King Arthur as we called him, was such an amazing man. He was always there if you needed him for ANYTHING! He was so great at figuring out how to build, well, just about anything, and fix anything that was wrong. He, and his awesome Wife, Bonnie, helped us with installing new windows, installing new walls and ceiling in our living room, planting beautiful Crape Myrtls, just about anything that needed fixing, man he was so smart! We always had a great time visiting on the patio, so many times. He had a great sense of humor!!! He was such a good Husband to Bonnie!!! You are missed, King Arthur! Until we all meet again! We love you!!!
