Obituary
Ann Elizabeth Slater was born February 12, 1959 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Paul and Wilma Frances (Bridges) Clark. She passed from this life Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Tulsa after a brave battle with cancer at the age of 58.
She moved with her family to the Tulsa area as a child and was a 1977 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. Ann attended Tulsa VoTech, studying sewing and eventually opened Miss Ann’s Alterations at 41st & South Peoria Ave. in January of 1998 and was featured for her sewing in a news story published by the Tulsa World.
She loved sewing and her coworkers were her family. Ann also enjoyed spending time with friends, her Dachshunds, cooking, reading, shopping, OU games and, of course spending time with her son.
Ann is survived by her son, Michael; her father, Paul Clark; her brothers, David, Richard and Paul Clark; her dogs, Zoe and Hazel B Marie; and many others.

I was heartbroken to hear my sweet Annie passed!! she was always smiling, laughing and just had a love of life. I am so sad I did not get to see her on my last trip home, but had seen her the trip home before. I will miss you dearly sweet lady! Prayers for Michael and family.

Our family was so sorry to hear about Ann’s passing. Although we hadn’t seen her for a while, she was our family’s go to person for alterations. We all always enjoyed visiting with her. We will miss her. Our condolences to her family, especially Michael. Everytime I was in , she told me of your accomplishments. She was so very proud of you.

Loved you Ann with all my heart. I know you will be God's Angel because you were an Angel here on earth. A person never saw Ann without the smile in the pictures. She loved her family, especially Michael, very much and was so so proud of who you had grown into. Her customers were her family too but she loved everyone that worked for her.
