Angela Petros, 88, longtime resident of Tulsa passed from this life on Wednesday, March 4, 2015

Angela was born to Emanual and Maria (Marazakis) Tsikalakis in Greece. At age 12 she started working for the American Embassy in Greece as a note runner. She came to America with an American Ambassador and later became a U.S. citizen.

Angela was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church where she was associated with several organizations through the church. She was a lifetime member & an elected officer of the Order of The Eastern Star.

She is survived by her four siblings, Kyriaky Toumasis, George Tsikalakis, Anna Shaver and Olaga Zambos & many neices & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Pope & Pelagia and her husband, Basil “Bill” Petros.

Angela will lie in state Monday with a Trisagion service held 6:30 p.m. Monday, both at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel and a funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
