Obituary
Alton Gerald Willis, age 85, of Tulsa, OK passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018. Gerald was born September 30, 1933 at Red Oak, OK to John Boyd & Lizzie (Hern) Willis. Gerald retired from Flint Steel as a draftsman and estimator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his family.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Elinor (Estes) Willis; his son, Mike Willis; and his brothers, James Willis, Jay Willis, Doyle Willis and Ed Willis. He is survived by his children, Alton Willis, Jr. of Tulsa, OK and Lou Ann Hughes and husband Craig of Houston, TX; his stepchildren, Debra Fisher, Randall Miller and wife Rebekah, Janet Brotherton and husband Dennis; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Gerald will lie in state from 10:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27 at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28 at the Red Oak Southside Cemetery officiated by Rev. Johnny Montgomery.

Uncle Gerald, I will miss you and Dad talking about fishing and whatever came up. To my Aunt Jeanette and cousins A.G. and Lu Ann, I am sorry I was not there for you, I just found out today after everything was all said and done. Dear Willis family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Alton. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting.
