Obituary
Allen Lindsey Jacks was born February 15, 1945 in Tulsa, OK to Albert & Marie (Winters) Jacks and entered eternal life on December 7, 2018 at the age of 73.
Allen entered the work stage at an early age working as a teen delivering blue prints on a bicycle in downtown Tulsa. From there he was employed in numerous fields including 7 ½ years of working for Pryor Foundry until their closing. He retired from Fabwell Corporation as their maintenance technician after 15 years. Allen enjoyed socializing with friends and family but his greatest love was fishing on the Illinois River where he spent many years.
Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tommy Joe Winters Allen is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Jean (Helscel) Jacks; his sisters-in-law, Betty Winters of Salmon, ID, Sherry Sappington and husband Dan of Pryor, OK; his nephews, Keith Sappington and Kevin Sappington both of Pryor, OK; his grand nephews, Beau Daniel and Ronnie Alan of Pryor; his grandnieces, Kaitlynn Paige and Karlie Lynn also of Pryor, OK; his uncles, Russell Foster of Tulsa, OK and Frank Foster of Jenks, OK; his aunt, Sue Wallace of Sapulpa, OK; and many cousins and their families.
He will lie in state Tuesday, December 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. and his funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, all at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and Chapel.

Mr.Jacks was a very pleasant man always made the best of everything no matter how he was feeling. He also always had a smile on his face . I was very blessed that our paths crossed . I work at his cardiologist office .He will be missed . Prayers to his family . RIP Mr.Jacks

My 4 year old daughter and I have a tradition of going to the donut shop in Jenks every Friday morning on the way to school. We met Al there a few years ago and he always talked to Hailey and gave her high fives. She adored him and liked going to the donut shop to see him and recently said he was her boyfriend. She knew his truck and would always say Al is at the donut shop. We only knew him for a short period of time but am glad he shared his heart with us! Will miss you Al! Hailey and Shannon Thompson

Al was a great feisty funny guy, worked with him for many years he always called me his little sister. Our Opinion wasn't always the same but that was ok. He loved coming in my office ranting and raving about something and i would always say Al take a chill pill that doesn't help a thing. He would say i know. He loved going fishing and to the river, he would always tell what a good time he had with his family. He would always ask me about my kids and grandkids. Al had a big heart and will be missed.

We will miss Al very much. He had a wealth of knowledge that he loved to share and was always available to help anyone. He had a great sense of humor and was a very good man.
