Allen Clark

Allen James Clark was born on February 24, 1918 in Qualls, OK to Joe Ray and Gertrude Ethel (Brannon) Clark. Allen passed away in Tulsa, OK on June 20, 2011 at the age of 93.

Allen married Dorothy Sadler on September 26, 1943 at the Vance Air Force Base in Enid, OK while Allen was stationed there during WWII. After the war, he was an auto mechanic and was always there to help anyone with a car problem. He retired as shop foreman for Ernie Miller Pontiac. Dorothy and Allen lived in Tulsa for well over fifty years. He was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and in August 2005 his beloved wife, Dorothy, passed away. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Rick Smith, of Tulsa; a son, Jim Clark, of Tulsa; 3 sisters, Mamie Coplen and Anna Ballard, both of Tulsa and Janie Myers, of Alexandria, LA; 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
