Alene Mae Cox Kurtz

Alene Mae Cox Kurtz, long-time Tulsa resident, passed away July 25, 2018 at the age of 99.  Alene was born in Corsicana, TX on December 29, 1918 to Willis and Allie Keith. 

Alene was a member of Harvard Avenue Christian Church since 1960 and past president of the Tulsa Mrs. Club. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Heber Cox, Jr. and Thomas W. Kurtz.  She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Johnson of Oklahoma City; Nancy Cox of Tulsa; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Diane Cox also of Tulsa; her sister, Helen Cates of Tulsa, OK; her sister-in-law, Letha Lee Musick of Tulsa, OK; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to A-Vow Hospice of Broken Arrow.
